Hamilton Robinson LLC Acquires Magnatech International, L.P.
Stamford, CT - April 4, 2006 - Hamilton Robinson LLC (HRCo), announces the completion of an acquisition through a new entity, Magnatech International, Inc., of 100% of the partnership interests of Magnatech International, LP.
Headquartered in Robesonia, PA, Magnatech International, Inc. is the world leader in the design and production of superior braiding, wire spiraling and bobbin winding systems and related parts used in the manufacture of high and medium pressure reinforced hose. The company is widely known in its industry for technological leadership, commitment to quality, cost efficiency and customer service. Customers include both large and small domestic and international reinforced hose manufacturers.
Major markets for new equipment, and for the parts and service for a large installed base, include North America, Eastern and Western Europe, Southeast Asia, China, India, and most recently Russia.
With this transaction Magnatech's senior management team becomes a significant equity owner of the business in partnership with Hamilton Robinson LLC, Altus Capital Partners L.P., David L. Babson & Co. and other co-investors.
