Scott I. Oakford, Partner, (203) 602-0566

Scott joined HRCo in 1990 having spent the majority of his career in the private equity investment and finance business. He serves as a director of Magnatech International, Inc., Davis-Standard LLC, The Fitzpatrick Company, Dexter Magnetic Technologies, Inc., and All Island Media, Inc. He has served on numerous other boards of middle market companies both public and private. Scott served in operating roles at two HRCo portfolio companies as interim chief financial officer of AGCO Corporation prior to the company's IPO, and interim president of Maloney Industries Inc.

Scott received a B.S. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 1977, and began his financial career at Chemical Bank in 1978.

Owen (Steve) Crihfield, Partner, (203) 602-0085

Steve has spent the past 19 years in the private equity business with an emphasis on service driven companies in mature industries. He serves on the Board of Directors of Dexter Magnetic Technologies, Inc., Petreco International Inc., and Lifestyle Media, Inc. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of twelve private and public portfolio companies, as well as several charitable organizations. Previously, he was with Saugatuck Capital Company and a Vice President of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets with responsibilities in corporate finance for emerging growth companies.

Steve received his BA in Government from Pomona College in 1976 and his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1980.

Mark A. Riser, Partner, (203) 602-3309

Mark has spent 15 years in operating and financial roles, primarily in the energy, power and paper industries. His current and prior directorships include Black Clawson Converting Machinery, Inc., GranQuartz Holdings LLC, Trillion Digital Communications, Inc., Lifestyle Media, Inc., and Magnatech International, Inc. Previously, he was with PRC Engineering, Trigen Energy and International Paper where he worked in the business development, M & A, corporate finance and treasury groups, overseeing a variety of corporate development, financing and treasury functions.

Mark received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1986 and began his career as a Division Officer aboard a nuclear powered submarine (USS San Francisco, SSN-711) in the U.S. Navy, graduating from the Navy’s officer candidate, nuclear power and submarine schools in 1988. He received his MBA at the Darden School, University of Virginia in 1994.

Phil Cagnassola, Partner, (203)-602-0514

Phil joined HRCo in 2001 and brings significant financial operating experience having served as Chief Financial Officer of PC Flowers, Davis-Standard, and several early stage development companies at Walker Digital where he was head of business planning and development. He currently serves as a director of Davis-Standard LLC and The Fitzpatrick Company. He is a past director of Black Clawson Converting Machinery, Inc. and past advisor to Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business.

Phil received a BS from Fairfield University in 1992 and began his career with Ernst & Young and GE Capital. He is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and New Jersey.

Christian Lund, Partner, (203)-602-0012

Chris joined HRCo in 2002 and has over twelve years experience structuring private equity and debt investments, with particular emphasis in acquisition and growth capital. He joined the firm after having spent his career at GE Equity and Chase Manhattan and its predecessor firms. During his time at HRCo, Chris has played a key role in closing several investments including co-leading the Magnatech International investment, leading the All Island Media investment, and arranging the debt financing for the Black Clawson and Davis-Standard investments. He currently serves as a director of All Island Media, Inc. and Magnatech International, Inc.

Chris began his financial career at Chemical Bank's management and credit training program in 1994. He received a BA (cum laude) from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Marianna P. Knowles, Administrative Assistant

Marianna began with HRCo in 1987. She provides administrative support in the marketing area for deal flow generation, manages our extensive data base of deal origination contacts, and helps with fund administration and communication with limited partners.
